We are looking for a Receptionist/Admin Assistant to join our team from January 2019

The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work on their own initiative, and as part of a team to deliver an administrative service to the whole school community.

 

Flexible and adaptable you will have excellent written and IT skills with a calm approach to the wide range of duties working in our busy school office entails.

 

As our school receptionist you will be the first point of contact for pupils, parents and visitors on a daily basis both face to face and on the telephone so a warm welcoming manner is essential and the ability to engage with a broad range of adults and children.

 

Key responsibilities are

 

  • Reception duties include answering the phone, meeting and greeting visitors, organising refreshements, booking meetings/rooms, dealing with deliveries, photo-copying, filing, scanning, shredding, stocking the stationery cupboards etc.

 

  • Updating and maintaining manual and computerised records/ management information systems.
